Adam Giebner


Mr. Giebner is currently a senior at the University of Minnesota- Duluth, pursuing a degree in Vocal Music Education with a minor in Theatre. An active musician in the Twin Ports region, Mr. Giebner has served as a section leader for the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra Chorus, Arrowhead Chorale, and UMD’s University and Chamber Singers. Mr. Giebner actively serves as a music director, conductor, and pianist for numerous staged productions throughout North Dakota and Northern Minnesota. In North Dakota, Mr. Giebner is an assistant director and the drama classes instructor for the Summer Performing Arts Company in Grand Forks, which has been the recipient of many accolades including the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award (2017). Mr. Giebner is an active member of the American Choral Director’s Association, currently serving on the ACDA-MN Executive Board as the Student Representative and President of UMD’s ACDA Student Chapter. Mr. Giebner has also been a semi-finalist and finalist of NATS Competitions in North Dakota and Minnesota. He is a member of NAfME and NEA. This is Mr. Giebner's second year as an intern and first year as a Prelude instructor at LSYC.
