Jenna Kelly

Executive Director

Mrs. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and she is completing a Master’s in the Science of Teaching from the College of St. Scholastica. Mrs. Kelly is a licensed elementary educator and is also a member of the Prelude teaching staff for the 2018-2019 season. Prior to LSYC, Mrs. Kelly worked as a teacher and administrator at Holy Rosary School, and she has experience with a number of non-profit organizations, including the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Kelly also maintains a professional career as a vocalist and actress, appearing on stages throughout the Midwest. She has worked with award-winning artists such as Kurt Elling and Marvin Hamlisch. Mrs. Kelly has professionally directed, choreographed, and performed in many local theatre productions with Renegade Theater Company, The Duluth Playhouse, and The College of St. Scholastica Theatre. Recent performances include Eastland: A New Musical (Bobbie) and Parade (Lucille Frank), and she will be back on stage this season at the NorShor Theatre’s production of Don’t Dress for Dinner as Suzanne. Mrs. Kelly is an Oeuvre Award recipient in the category of “Best Actress” for her role of Emily in Renegade Theatre Company’s production of The Sparrow. She and her husband are the proud parents of two young future performers, Cohen and Shamus.
