Mrs. Jenna Kelly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Mrs. Kelly is a licensed elementary educator and she is completing a Master’s in the Science of Teaching from The College of St. Scholastica in May 2022.
Prior to LSYC, Mrs. Kelly worked as a teacher and administrator at Holy Rosary School. Mrs. Kelly has held several positions with non-profit organizations, including the American Cancer Society where she launched the first annual Strides event in the Duluth area.
Mrs. Kelly also maintains a professional career as a vocalist and actress, appearing on stages throughout the Midwest. She has worked with award-winning artists such as Kurt Elling and Marvin Hamlisch. Mrs. Kelly has professionally directed, choreographed, and performed in many regional theatre productions. Recent performances include Grease! (Sandy), Eastland: A New Musical (Bobbie), and Parade (Lucille Frank). Mrs. Kelly is an Oeuvre Award recipient in the category of “Best Actress” for her role of Emily in Renegade Theatre Company’s production of The Sparrow. She and her husband are the proud parents of two young future performers, Cohen and Shamus.
