• When do we find out which choir our singer has been accepted into?  Directors will make their choir placement recommendation and communicate by letter and/or email within two weeks of the audition date. 
   

• Is there a cost to audition? No. There is no fee to audition. We do require a registration fee of $50 to reserve your child's place in the choir. Availability in choirs is limited, so we recommend registration ASAP once you receive your placement letter.
   

• Are we required to commit to the program if we audition? No. Auditions are a great way to learn more about LSYC. Sing for us, learn more about our program, and then you can decide if you would like to make the commitment to LSYC.
   

• What if we can't make the audition dates?  If the video audition isn't an option for you, please contact us at info@lsyouthchorus.org to learn about additional options for auditions.
   

• Will my child "make it" into a choir? LSYC has introductory programs in addition to our resident choirs. We try to find a good fit option for all auditioning singers and may recommend one of our other programs if it is a good fit.
