LSYC's COVID-19 Response
LSYC’s Keep Singing Plan
As our community begins to reopen from the COVID-19 pandemic, LSYC is committed to offering the highest quality music experiences for our singers and families while maintaining the safest environment possible.
We realize that resuming in-person activities will not be like flipping a switch – it will be gradual and will follow best practices and risk mitigation measures. As more information about the long-term impacts of COVID-19 come to light, the LSYC board and staff want to assure our family community that we are preparing to effectively implement a number of scenarios to enable all singers to participate in LSYC this Fall. Our mission and values guide our work and decision-making as we look to having singers back to in-person rehearsals as soon as possible.
We will continue to follow guidance from the CDC, MDH, and our Governor in order to assure we have the most complete and up-to-date information and we will continue to keep families informed over the summer.
We want to be face-to-face as soon as possible.
We want to be 100% confident with the protocols and practices we put in place for the safety and well-being of everyone.
We will continue to follow guidance from the CDC, MDH, and our Governor in order to assure we have the most complete and up-to-date information.
We will stay connected to the actions of the greater community.
We will create a space of open, safe, and flexible conversation.
We won't have the entire picture by ourselves.
We want to be as prepared as possible to give our singers and families a great experience.
Minnesota's Stay Safe Plan
