NMTC seeks to provide professional development and educational resources to music teachers in the Northland region as well as foster a positive and supportive community that ultimately benefits the education of our students. Sponsored by the Lake Superior Youth Chorus, workshops given by and for educators in our area can be tailored to our communities specific needs, while guest lecturers can be brought in from around the nation to provide quality PD in our own backyard. 

 

Each quarter, NMTC will send out a newsletter that highlights current music educators in the Northland, shares concert information to go out and support each other, provides teacher recommended repertoire, tried and true lesson plans for each content area, and the occasional article or blurb from teachers about different topics.
