ANNELIESE BRAATEN

COLLABORATIVE PIANIST

Image-empty-state.png

Ms. Anneliese Braaten set the tone for her musical career when she perfected the art of practicing piano to get out of washing dishes. She considers herself lucky that this plan worked out, as music is an integral part of her life now. In addition to piano performance, Ms. Braaten enjoys playing horn in various orchestras and singing in the Twin Ports Choral Project. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Luther College where she majored in Elementary Education and Music. She then went on to attain a Master’s degree in Education at The College of St. Scholastica. Ms. Braaten is currently a first grade teacher in Esko, Minnesota. She is so excited to be a part of the LSYC team and hopes that every singer can leave the program with a passion for music that lasts a lifetime.
